Readmission of Active-Duty Service Members

Pursuant to (FSA Volume 2, Chapter 3), TTC will readmit a Service Member with the same academic status they had when last attending the school or accepted for admission to the school. A Service Member must notify TTC within three years, after completion of service, of their intent to be readmitted.

The Veterans Assistance Office in collaboration with the Office of Admissions, will work with the Service Member upon their return to be readmitted into Trident Technical College. If the time away has been greater than three semesters, the Service Member will complete an Admissions Application as a Returning Student. Readmission into their program of study will occur in the next starting term – unless a later date is requested, or unusual circumstances requires TTC to readmit later.

To begin the readmission process, please contact the Veteran’s Assistance Office – informing them of your intent to return and to complete proper documentation (if applicable). Then complete the Admissions Application and meet with a Success Coach or faculty member to discuss your plan of study and register for classes.
