Get Started at the Student Success Center 

The Student Success Center is an all-inclusive, one-stop shop that assists students from orientation through enrollment. You might feel overwhelmed and not know where to start. Make the Student Success Center your first stop!   

The Student Success Center staff assists with:

• general help
• orientation
• assigning a success coach or an academic advisor
• making referrals as needed

A success coach is your initial advisor who assists with registration and major exploration, and answers questions regarding all areas of the college and makes referrals as needed.

Orientation

Orientation is a crucial step in getting started at Trident Technical College and is vital to your academic success. Learn about TTC, important software platforms and various college services at orientation. Select Orientation to get started.

New Student Orientation Week
Jan. 6-10, 10 a.m. or 2 p.m.

New Student Orientation sessions are grouped by program of study. New students may attend a morning or afternoon session. During these sessions, you can:

• Meet the success coach, faculty or staff in your chosen program.
• Learn about program expectations, resources and support systems.
• Gain tips for success in your field of study.
• Build connections with peers and faculty to foster a sense of community.

NOTE: Mount Pleasant Campus will hold New Student Orientation Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Please meet at the Front Desk.

New students are assigned a success coach upon acceptance to the college. An academic advisor or a success coach is assigned to all degree-seeking students.
