What's my username?
Your username is normally your first name and your last name, all one word, all lower case (Ex: susanworks). There are exceptions. If your username is an exception, which means it has up to a five-digit number after your name (Ex: susanworks4572), this number was included in the acknowledgement letter you received from the Admissions office after you applied to Trident Technical College. You CANNOT change your username.
I’ve never logged in before, what's my password?
Your password is originally set to 'Aa' plus the last six numbers of your social security number plus '$' (Ex: Aa######$), with ###### being the last six numbers. You will be required to change this temporary password the first time you log in.
Password Recovery and Reset Help
If you have forgotten your password and you have already set up your Password Recovery information you can reset your password using the Password Reset Service.
If you still cannot log in you can submit an online help request or call 843-574-6999. Login Support is available Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Password Change and Recovery Information
To secure your account, the first time you log in you will be asked to set up your password recovery information. This way you can verify your identity before making changes to your account. You can update this password recovery information using the Information Recovery Page.
If you want to change your password for any reason you can also use the Change Password Page.
The password requirements are
- At least 8 characters
- 3 different types of characters (I.E. upper case, lower case, numbers, special characters)
- Cannot contain your name
- You cannot reuse old passwords
