The Student Urgent Needs
The TTC Foundation Student Urgent Needs Fund assists students who have an unforeseen financial emergency which would otherwise prevent them from continuing to attend TTC. These funds are not to be a consistent supplement to a student's education funding sources or to sustain students between financial aid refund checks and must be urgent in nature.
Clemente Fund
The Charleston Clemente Courses are free college-level humanities courses that are offered to disadvantaged people in the Charleston area, in the hope that a study of classic literature, philosophy, art and history can offer a way out of poverty through intellectual freedom. The Clemente Fund provides meals, instructional supplies and materials for the program.
TTC Grocery Vault
The TTC Grocery Vault is a food pantry serving the Trident Tech college community. Food is available to current students, faculty and staff in need of assistance.
Tuition Assistance
To provide professional and personal growth opportunities for faculty and staff, the TTC Foundation will provide financial support for full-time, permanent employees to take credit courses through its Credit Course/Tuition Assistance programs.
Grants
The TTC grants office assists faculty and staff in obtaining grant funding to advance the strategic goals of the college. Grant funds support a variety of needs at TTC, ranging from equipment to curriculum enhancement to development of new programs.
