If your interests are in an area that is not represented by the current organizations listed below, you may want to consider forming a new student organization. You can find more information about student organizations in the student portal at my.tridenttech.edu.

Champions for Change

This organization’s mission is to serve and act on behalf of the needs, rights and well-being of communities and families, and to promote and support the values of professionalism, service, scholarship and leadership.

Clemente Coalition

The purpose of the Clemente Coalition is to enrich the collegiate experience by promoting knowledge, honesty, self-expression and creativity while supporting the missions of the Clemente Program and TTC.

Criminal Justice Student Association

This association strives to become familiar with the overall objectives of the criminal justice system, help members improve their professional performance, and observe related law enforcement activities as practiced by the criminal justice system.

Early Childhood Development Club

The purpose of the Early Childhood Development Club shall be to serve and act on behalf of the needs, rights and well-being of all young children. To encourage the study, interpretation, and improvement of their education and general well-being and to cooperate with, support and promote activities with other groups having compatible purposes. It is also our desire to align ourselves with organizations (such as SCAEYC and SCECA) who offer membership opportunities, promoting continuous professional growth and in the field of early childhood. By providing activities, promoting volunteerism and optional membership choices in professional educational organizations, our club will assist the serious and dedicated student to develop leadership qualities and academic skills that will benefit the students in future endeavors.

Filmmakers Unanimous

The purpose of Filmmakers Unanimous shall be to provide students with the progressive learning in regards to Film Production, while earning school credit and on-set experience in preparation for future jobs and opportunities and also allow students to make short films of their choosing with professional means, seeking a vision of their choosing from pre-production to post-production and after.

Fitness Lifestyle Initiative

The purpose of the Fitness Lifestyle Initiative organization is to provide service to the college and community, engender a keen interest in fitness, and develop knowledge of fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.

Hospitality and Culinary Student Association

This organization acquaints members with basic concepts and philosophies of sales and marketing in the hospitality industry, especially as it relates to the operational subjects being studied.

International Club

The International Club promotes good will and understanding, develops character, cultivates friendship, and assists international students in their academic skills and daily life adjustment.

Lex Artis Paralegal Society

This organization promotes fellowship and provides a networking facility among all students and alumni of the Trident Technical College Lex Artis Paralegal Program.

Lowcountry Aviation Maintenance Association

The Lowcountry Aviation Maintenance Association promotes safety, knowledge and dignity in the aviation profession.

Phi Theta Kappa

PTK is an international honor society for two-year colleges that promotes scholarship, develops character and cultivates fellowship among students.

Physical Therapy Assistant Association

This organization strives to develop exposure in the professional environment of physical therapy.

Radiologic Technology Association

The purpose of this organization is to promote scholastic excellence, develop character and make others aware of the radiologic profession as a service to the students of TTC.

Respiratory Care Association

The purpose of this organization is to promote scholastic excellence, develop character, and make others aware of the respiratory therapy profession.

Roots and Shoots

This organization strives to foster respect and compassion for all living things, promote understanding of all cultures and beliefs, and inspire each individual to take action to make the world a better place for the environment, animals and the human community.

Security, Networking, and Programming (SNAP) Student Club

The purpose of this organization is to foster among students a better understanding of the vital business role of information technology, the proper relationship of information technology to management and the necessity for a professional attitude among information technology professionals in their approach to an understanding and application of the principles underlying the science of information technology.

Society for Dental Assisting

This organization provides information and further education in the dental assisting field.

Society for Medical Assistants

This organization provides the student body the services offered by the Allied Health Medical Assisting Program.

Society for Medical Laboratory Technology

This organization provides services, information and further education in the medical laboratory technology field.

Society of Broadcasters

The purpose of this organization (Society of Broadcasters) is to provide the Film and Media Arts students with hands-on experience that will develop and enhance their media production skill set. In addition, the organization will provide its members with community and college service project opportunities. It will also provide media production services throughout the college and community.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers

The purpose of this organization is to: serve as an opportunity for networking between students and professionals of various disciplines to share information, interests and experience; Learn about emerging technologies; and Establish Trident Technical College as a resource for prospective manufacturing employees.

Student Accounting Association

To engender a keen interest in accounting, to develop a sound understanding of accounting and to promote enjoyment of accounting.

Student American Dental Hygienists' Association

To cultivate, promote and sustain the art and science of dental hygiene; to represent and safeguard the common interest of the members of the dental hygiene profession; and to contribute toward the improvement of the health of the public.

Student Nurses Association

To assume responsibility for contributing to nursing education in order to provide the highest quality health care.

Student Occupational Therapy Assistants Association

The purpose of this organization is to promote occupational therapy as a health profession, sponsor student activities, facilitate communication between students and the administration of the college, and provide community services.

Terra Bella

To increase awareness of horticulture and related fields through the interaction of ideas and methods, scholastically and socially.

TTC Transfer Scholars

The purpose of the TTC Transfer Scholars shall be to provide service to the College and community, to improve student success for meeting transfer goals, to enhance leadership skills, to set model examples as college students in pursuit of transfer goals, and to encourage students to complete programs of study at TTC that will prepare them for transferring to other colleges.

United Students Association

To strengthen the unity, TTC's campus and surrounding area, between all ethnic backgrounds.

Veteran's Voice

It shall be the purpose of uniting veterans, students, faculty and staff, and the local community to promote education, awareness, selfless service, and a stronger sense of community.

Vet Tech Club

To provide awareness to the community on animal care and well-being. The club will also provide services to the Berkeley County SPCA to better the facilities, and education of the shelter as a whole. This will ensure a better chance for adoption of those animals that may not have a chance. In return, students in this club will gain valuable experience in the Veterinary Technician field and the gratification of helping animals.

Visual Arts Club

The purpose of the Visual Arts Club shall be to provide service to the College and community, to engender a keen interest in Visual Arts to develop a sound understanding of its applications, and to promote enjoyment of Visual Art as well as fellowship and free exchange of ideas. It will assist the serious and dedicated student to develop leadership qualities and academic skills that will benefit the student in future endeavors.
