Application - YES

Create an account on Apply Now and complete the online application, selecting “Not seeking a Degree” as your student type. Once you have completed and submitted your application, you will be able to view any supplemental items needed and monitor the processing of your application on your Apply Now account.

High School Diploma/Transcript - NO

You are not required to submit proof of high school graduation. However, if you later decide to seek a degree, diploma, or certificate at TTC, you may be required to submit proof.

English Proficiency- YES - reading proficiency only

Submit one of the following:

• A final, official high school transcript with a weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher from the last five years
• Proof of completion of a transferrable college-level English course
• Proof of associate degree or higher
• Qualifying SAT (480 Critical Reading; 530 Revised SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing)
• Qualifying ACT (19 English)
• Take the TTC Placement Test
• WorkKeys reading for information subtest- Level 4

Math Proficiency - NO

You are not required to submit proof of math proficiency. However, you must meet all prerequisites for any courses you wish to take at TTC.

Proof of Citizenship - YES

Submit one of the following:

• South Carolina driver's license
• State-issued ID
• FAFSA Student Aid Report

Transient Permission - Only if you are a transient (visiting) student

If you are a transient (visiting) student, you must submit proof from your home institution of approval to take courses at TTC. Any forms submitted must be signed by your home institution and include the specific courses you can take at TTC. See the Visiting Students webpage for more information.
