A Night in the Valley, held annually on the last Friday of January, is the premier event in Charleston, dedicated to supporting Trident Technical College students.

This extraordinary evening offers more than just a five-star experience—it makes a profound difference in our community. Funds raised during the event go towards critical needs such as student scholarships, the Student Urgent Needs Fund, and essential classroom equipment.

Each year, A Night in the Valley sells out months in advance, drawing over 600 guests, including affluent figures and leaders in our community. It is the must-attend event for those looking to connect and make a lasting impact.

Celebrating 20 Years of Impact

Thanks to the generous support of our attendees, sponsors, donors and volunteers, the 20th Anniversary of A Night in the Valley was truly spectacular! We are thrilled to announce that over $1 million was raised, directly benefitting TTC students and honoring the enduring legacy of retired TTC President, Dr. Mary Thornley.
