SCWINS
South Carolina residents enrolled in critical workforce programs that lead to an industry-recognized credential, certificate, diploma or degree are eligible for the South Carolina Workforce Industry Needs Scholarship (SCWINS). SCWINS covers the cost of tuition, fees and course-related expenses (up to $5,000 per academic year) for eligible programs. Learn More>
Continuing education/workforce training students who meet the criteria and are in a SCWINS eligible program can receive SCWINS tuition assistance. NOTE: SCWINS tuition assistance will only be applied for courses required in the eligible program of study. You can find eligible continuing education programs at the links below.
How do I apply?
Apply online and a program manager will contact you if your application is approved. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds are expended. You can only choose from one of the programs listed in the dropdown menu for "Desired Training Program." If your choice of study is not listed, the class is either full or not being offered. Check back often as programs are added as they become available.

Scholarship recipients are eligible to take an entire program or classes within a program. They are not able to move between programs. If when you click on a choice of study and do not see any class sessions listed, all class sections are either full or the class is not being offered at this time.
