You will be contacted by a Trident Technical College Program Manager when your application is in review. Please allow 7-10 days for this process and watch your email/voicemail for notification. If we cannot reach you in a timely manner, we will move on to the next application. 

Application Requirement: Scholarship recipients must be current residents of South Carolina and all applicants will need to provide the college with social security number, date of birth and proof of residency. After you submit this online form, you will receive a follow-up email from the college with instructions on how to securely upload the additional requirements. 

Program Requirements: Some programs have additional registration requirements. While you do not need to submit this additional documentation with your application, you will be asked to provide it before you can be registered.

• Education: If required, applicant will be asked to provide a copy of high school diploma, GED, or a college transcript.

• Drug-free: If required, applicant must provide proof of a current (within three days) negative drug screen. Some programs may require more than one drug screen.

• Criminal History: If required, must provide copy of a current (within three days) SC SLED or national background check. Applicants with felony convictions are not eligible for scholarship funds.

• WorkKeys: If required, applicant will be required to submit proof of Silver WINS/WorkKeys.

Scholarship Funds Will Cover: Registration fees for one program and/or course. 

Consent and Release: I grant to Trident Technical College and its agents, and others working for the college or on its behalf and its respective licensees, successors, and assigns the absolute right and permission to use, publish and broadcast my voice recording, name, picture, and likeness, or any material based upon or derived therefrom, or to refrain from so doing, in any manner or media whatsoever for purposes of advertising, illustration, demonstration or promoting and publicizing Trident Technical College’s programs. I shall have no right of approval, no claim, including, without limitation, claims based upon invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity arising out of any use. I agree that this release does not in any way conflict with any existing commitment on my part.

Scholarship awards are based on classroom and funding availability. Completion of this application does not guarantee admission into a program with Trident Technical College.

Scholarship applicants may not be eligible for funding if they did not successfully complete or attend the first day of class for previously awarded programs.
