High School Students Admission Requirements

You are a high school student taking courses if you are still enrolled in high school but wish to start taking courses at TTC prior to graduation. Students of this type will fall into two categories: dual credit or early admit. For more information, click here.

Application - YES

You must complete either the Dual Credit or the Early Admit application.

Application Fee - NO

Dual Credit and Early Admit students are not required to pay the application fee at TTC.

High School Diploma/Transcript - NO

You are not required to submit proof of high school graduation. However, if you later decide to seek a degree, diploma, or certificate at TTC, you may be required to submit proof.

English Proficiency – YES - reading proficiency only

Submit one of the following:

  • Qualifying SAT (480 Critical Reading; 530 Revised SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing)
  • Qualifying ACT (19 English)
  • Take the TTC Placement Test

Math Proficiency - NO

You are not required to submit proof of math proficiency in order to be admitted. However, you must meet all prerequisites for any courses you wish to take at TTC.

Proof of Citizenship - NO

You are not required to provide proof of citizenship while you are still enrolled in high school. If you wish to continue at TTC after graduation, you will be required to provide proof of citizenship or legal presence.

Transient Permission- NO

As a Dual Credit or Early Admit student you are not required to submit transient permission.
