Dual Credit Online Application

To enroll at Trident Technical College:

  • High school students must have the permission of a parent/guardian and school counselor, principal, or home school association, and qualifying test scores on the SAT, ACT, or TTC ACCUPLACER Placement Test.
  • Adult Education students must have the permission of a counselor or administrator from their Adult Education program and qualifying test scores on the SAT, ACT, or TTC ACCUPLACER Placement Test.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Create an account on Apply Now and complete the online application, selecting “HS Student Taking Coll Courses” as your student type. Once you have completed and submitted your application, you will be able to view any supplemental items needed and monitor the processing of your application on your Apply Now account.

STEP 2

The following MUST be submitted to complete your application and can be uploaded through the Apply Now after you sign in and navigate to the Supplemental Items tab:

  1. Signature Page– Must be signed by student, parent/guardian (if under 18 year of age and still in high school), and school counselor, principal or home school association representative
  2. Unofficial copies of qualifying SAT, ACT or TTC ACCUPLACER scores

NOTE: If you intend to start Dual Credit program as a 9th or 10th grade student, you will be required to submit a letter of exceptional abilityThis letter must be on official school letterhead and signed by high school counselor, principal, or home school association. Submit this letter directly to the Dual Enrollment department of the Division of School and Community Initiatives via email to dualenrollment@tridenttech.edu or via fax to 843-574-6489.

If you are NOT a U.S. Citizen, please contact the Division of School and Community Initiatives at 843-574-6533 or dualenrollment@tridenttech.edu. You will still provide your application through the Apply Now site, but you may be required to submit additional documentation to prove your legal status in the U.S.

Please allow up to 48 business hours AFTER submitting ALL required paperwork for the admissions process to be completed. Failure to submit required documents will delay application processing and enrollment in classes.
