Dual Credit Online Application

Thank you for your interest in Trident Technical College’s Dual Credit program!

To enroll at Trident Technical College, high school students must have the permission of the parent/guardian and school counselor, principal, or home school association, and qualifying test scores on the SAT, ACT, or TTC ACCUPLACER Placement Test.

If you are NOT a U.S. Citizen, please contact the Division of School and Community Initiatives at 843-574-6533 or dualenrollment@tridenttech.edu to request a paper copy of the Dual Credit application. You may be required to submit additional documentation to prove your legal status in the U.S.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

You will be asked to complete Part 1 of your application online. Part 1 asks for general student information, anticipated year of graduation, high school/home school association information, etc. Please complete all required sections of the online portion of the application to move to Part 2.

For Part 2, you will be redirected to the Student Information and Responsibilities Sheet and Signature Page. You and a parent/guardian are REQUIRED TO READ this document. After reading, please print the Signature Page (page 3) to obtain all required signatures on the document.

The following MUST be submitted to complete your application:

  1. Dual Credit Signature Page – Must be signed by student, parent/guardian, and school counselor, principal or home school association representative
  2. Unofficial copies of qualifying SAT, ACT, or TTC ACCUPLACER scores
  3. A letter of exceptional ability if you are a 9th or 10th grade student (letter must be on official school letterhead and signed by high school counselor, principal, or home school association)

These documents can be submitted to the Dual Enrollment department of the Division of School and Community Initiatives via email to dualenrollment@tridenttech.edu (no screenshots/cell phone photos, please), or via fax to 843-574-6489. Please allow up to 48 business hours AFTER submitting your paperwork for the admissions process to be completed.

Failure to submit required documents will delay application processing and enrollment in classes. Please do not hesitate to contact the Division of School and Community Initiatives at 843-574-6533 with any questions or concerns.
