What is Continuing Education anyway?
Continuing Education is an opportunity to obtain valuable knowledge and skills for personal enrichment and career enhancement.
Unlike for-credit learning, Continuing Education encompasses noncredit courses, therefore classes do not count toward a degree. However, many Continuing Education courses prepare you for industry-recognized licensure and certifications. Successful completion of these courses earns continuing education units (CEU's) for the student. Whether you want better job opportunities or you’re looking to try something new, there is sure to be a Continuing Education course for you.
NEW! Payment Plans
Trident Tech Continuing Education students can now spread out the cost of their education with a new Payment Plan available for all programs costing $499 or more. The Payment Plan options are available through a partnership with Tuition Management Systems (TMS), a company that has helped more than 3 million students pay for education at thousands of schools.
STEP 1: Students must first register for their class(es) in person at the continuing education registration office at Trident Technical College's Main Campus in Bldg. 910.
STEP 2: After students have registered for their classes, they can then enroll in a Payment Plan through Trident's secure online portal at https://trident.afford.com or by calling 800.722.4867 and speaking with a TMS Education Payment Advisor. No approval is required to sign up for a plan and there are no financing charges, however there is a one-time $30 enrollment fee.
STEP 3: Begin making your payments. Make sure the payments are made on time, every time! Once enrolled in a Payment Plan students have four months to pay off their tuition costs.
The plans are flexible allowing students to make adjustments via the secure portal. They also include an eBill option in addition to mailed monthly paper statements, as well as online payments and an Automatic Payment Option to have the installment payments drafted directly from a bank account.
