Transcripts and Enrollment Verification

Processing time for official transcripts is three to five business days. To help you meet your deadline, submit all transcript requests at least two weeks before the required deadline.

Holds

TTC will not release transcripts for any student who has financial obligations to Trident Technical College.

If you have a hold for:

  • Balance due, contact the Business Office at 843.574.6026
  • Student loans in default, contact Financial Aid at 843.574.6110
  • Learning Resource Center (LRC), contact the Library at 843.574.6095

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts of student records are available online to current students via the my.tridenttech.edu student portal. You will not be able to access records for attendance prior to 1985; these records are on microfilm.

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts only show the coursework completed at Trident Technical College. Official transcripts cost $10 per copy. TTC prints all official transcripts on security paper and are self-sealed. If you are hand-delivering your official transcript to another institution, be sure NOT to open the transcript. Call the institution to verify its policy – some colleges will not accept official transcripts from students.

Trident Technical College only uses the U.S. Postal Service to mail official transcripts. Expedited mailing is only available by providing pre-paid materials to the college.

The Registrar’s office will accept transcript requests by the following means:

  • Paying by CreditCard
    If you have a my.tridenttech.edu portal account, you must submit your request online. Log in to my.tridenttech.edu and go to TTC Express > Academic Profile > Online Transcripts Request/Enrollment Verification.
    If you do not have a my.tridenttech.edu portal account, you must submit your request online.
  • Paying by Cash or Check
    Complete an Official Transcript Request form. The Registrar’s office will accept the request form by mail or in person. Be sure to completely fill in the student information and college/university address, if the transcript will be mailed. This ensures that your request is processed promptly and correctly.

Military Transcript Information     

TTC may award credit for selected formal military coursework and training from transcripts provided by the Joint Service Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). TTC uses the credit recommendations of the American Council on Education’s (ACE) Guide for the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services to evaluate both military classroom and experiential training.

Enrollment Verification

Students may obtain certification of enrollment (proof of being a current student) for insurance, employment, federal assistance programs, and loan purposes by accessing TTC Express in the student portal and selecting For Credit Students and then Enrollment Verification Certificate. Enrollment verification certificates are available after the Drop/Add period for the term or semester.

Release of Information

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), known as the Buckley Amendment, requires that students sign individual release forms for each company, school or individual to whom you want information released. For more information, click here.

Directory Information

In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), TTC may release information known as public or directory information, including the student’s name, address, telephone listing, email address, date and place of birth, major field of study, dates of attendance, degrees and awards received, and the most recent previous educational agency or institution attended by the student. Students who do not wish to be included in the directory must advise the Registrar’s office.
