Library Assistance for Distance Learners

Databases (to access journal articles) listed on the Learning Resources Center’s Online Database page are accessible from any computer with Internet access by using the 13-digit barcode at the bottom of your TTC ID. The barcode must be activated each term.

If you are a distance learner or online student who has not been on campus to obtain an official TTC ID, you can still access the library from off campus. To obtain a barcode for TTC library use only, e-mail the library using the “Contact Us” link on the left navigation of the Library Home page. In the e-mail, state your name, student ID number, mailing address and telephone number. Within approximately 48-hours (excluding weekends) you should receive your activated barcode number by return e-mail. Once your barcode has been activated, click the “Distance Learners (Off Campus Access)” link or click on any of the databases. You will then be asked to enter your 13-digit barcode to gain access.

For additional information on services and resources visit the Library page.
