Earn Certificates Online

Starting Fall 2024, enroll in an online Culinary Arts certificate. An online Baking and Pastry certificate is projected to begin Spring 2025.

This certificate is well-suited for anyone who:

• Lives too far away from Trident Technical College to attend in person or whose schedules don’t permit in-person instruction
• Is working in the food and beverage industry and wants to earn a formal credential to supplement real-world experience
• Wants to complete a certificate at a slower pace, typically taking one course at a time

Great news! Culinary and hospitality programs are eligible for no-cost tuition.

How does it work?

Students follow instructional videos to prepare recipes using a provided list of ingredients and materials, taking a photo at each step in the recipe.

The instructor will review the photos for accuracy and correct preparation. The course will also include live assessments at the conclusion of each module.

Most students will take one course per term, completing the certificate in one year.
