Selected participants hear from industry leaders and use state of the art equipment in the South Carolina Aeronautical Training Center at Thornley Campus as they learn about the wide variety of positions in manufacturing, from machining and robotics, to marketing and logistics. Monday through Thursday students will learn about and get hands-on experience with current trends and practices in high-tech manufacturing as well as develop and complete a group project. On Friday students will present their group projects to faculty, industry leaders, and family, followed by a catered recognition luncheon.

The week-long full-day program will be offered twice in 2023.

                               June12th thru June 16th

It is free to participants; however, space is limited. Rising high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply online.

Enrollment for the 2023 LAMI session has ended.

Funded through the same grant program, Trident Technical College will also offer a limited number of STEM Summer Camps for youths, ages 7-17, on all six campuses.
