You previously applied to Trident Technical College and submitted required documentation but never took classes.

Apply by completing an application online for the current or future semester.

  • Proof of Legal Presence
  • Graduation Documents
    • High School Graduation Documents (Diploma or Official High School Transcript) or General Educational Diploma (GED)
  • Qualifying Test Scores
    • Students may be required to submit proof of English and/or Math Proficiency based on information on these documents.
      • TTC’s Placement Test, SAT (480 Critical Reading; 530 Revised SAT Evidenced-Based Reading and Writing), or ACT (English 19, Math 22).
      • If you have taken English or Math courses at another U.S. College, you may be exempt from all or part of the placement test. To qualify, you will need to submit official transcripts.
      • A final high school transcript with a weighted GPA from the last five years.  Minimum Requirements needed for placement into courses (English 3.00 GPA & Math – 3.250 GPA)

Confirm that your account has been updated by logging into your Student Portal. Your login information should have been previously received by email and U.S. Postal Service. If you have trouble, please click here.

Confirm the residency status applied to you by reviewing your email. If you have trouble with locating this information, you may contact the Admissions office at 843-574-6558 or by email at admissions@tridenttech.edu. Confirm that your financial aid record is up to date (if applicable). You may contact the Financial Aid office to complete this step.

Your success coach or academic advisor can assist you with Orientation and registering for classes. If you do not know the name of your success coach, please contact the Student Success Center for more information.

Your tuition is determined by your residency status. Be sure you have completed Step 4.

Books can be purchased online or in-person at the bookstore.

 

Readmit Students

You previously applied to Trident Tech and took classes more than three semesters ago.

Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Prior to starting a FAFSA, you will first create your FSA ID at www.studentaid.gov. Once you have your FSA ID, you will complete your FAFSA and have the results sent to Trident Technical College by entering our college code: 004920.

TTC’s Educational Opportunity Center can be contacted for assistance with completing the application. The Financial Aid Office can be contacted for additional assistance with the financial aid process.
