South Carolina Illegal Immigrant Reform Act of 2008
The South Carolina Illegal Immigration Reform Act (Section 59-101-430 of the South Carolina Code of Laws, As Amended) prohibits those unlawfully in the United States from attending a public institution of higher education in South Carolina and from receiving a public higher education benefit. With over 150 programs of study in technical, career areas, and associate degree programs, TTC is a great starting point for students aiming to pursue a degree while saving on tuition costs.
*Note: Most international students, including F-1 students, are not eligible for federal/state financial aid assistance and are subject to out-of-state tuition and fees, unless the student is participating in an international sister-state agreement program. For international students, even with out-of-state tuition and fees, TTC's lower fees compared to four-year universities make it an affordable choice for starting their education in the U.S. For information on the Charleston area, click here.
On-campus housing is not available at Trident Technical College. Trident Technical College does not offer an intensive program for ESL (English as a Second Language) or English language training for F-1 students.
