This career path gives students the fundamental knowledge to work aboard United States
Maritime vessels within the engine department. Upon successfully completing TTC's
general education core and primary and secondary technical specialty requirements,
students will receive a comprehensive knowledge of machinery theory and hands-on experience
installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment. This knowledge,
education, and training will also transition to land-based industrial maintenance
positions.
