LEGAL AUTHORITY: Section 59-101-620 of 1976 Code of Laws of South Carolina, As Amended
As authorized by the General Assembly and the State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education, the President of Trident Technical College shall establish an educational fee waiver program. The educational fee waivers will be used to support the educational mission of the college for such purposes as, but not limited to, supporting minority recruitment, student scholarships, student leadership, student government leadership, and recruitment for designated academic programs.
The total amount of the educational fee waiver for each fiscal year will be limited to (a) 4% of the total tuition, capital, and fee revenues collected in the fiscal year in which fee waivers are awarded or (b) 4% of the student full time equivalents (FTEs) enrolled during the fiscal year multiplied by the maximum tuition, capital, and fee rates for the semester.
