Real Estate Advanced Principles

To earn the Real Estate Advanced Principles certificate from Trident Technical College, students must attend every class session in its entirety. This 30-hour course replaces the prior Post Licensing Education Curriculum approved by the state of South Carolina. As of Jan. 1, 2017 you may take the sales exam after completion of the 60-hour Real Estate - Basic Principles course (Unit I Sales Course) but cannot be issued a license until completion of the 30-hour Real Estate - Advanced Principles course.   Special Notice: Prerequisite: Real Estate - Basic Principles course at TTC or a certificate of completion for same from an authorized provider. If a student's certificate is lost or misplaced after successfully completing our course, there is no automatic replacement supplied by TTC. Replacement certificates are $49. Materials included

Real Estate Basic Principles

This course fulfills the sixty (60) hours of classroom education needed to take the real estate exam in the state of South Carolina and requires 100% course attendance. To earn the Real Estate Basic Principles certificate from Trident Technical College, students must attend every class session in its entirety and successfully pass the class exam. To obtain a real estate license you must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, provide proof of completion of 60 hours of pre-license education and Real Estate - Advanced Principles course from an authorized school, pass the state written examination, submit an application for licensure including appropriate fees, and be associated with a broker-in-charge. These courses meet new requirements, and successful completion enables you to sit for the state examination.   Any person wishing to take the South Carolina Real Estate Licensing exam must now pay for and pass a criminal background check BEFORE taking the state exam. This form can be downloaded from the SC Real Estate Commission website. TTC is an authorized provider for the pre-license course for real estate and property management.
