Aug. 6, 2026 — Trident Technical College helped more than 400 new, returning and accepted students get ready for fall semester at Ready, Set, Register!, a one-day enrollment event held July 30 across TTC campuses.
The event brought together essential TTC departments in one place so students could complete important steps, meet with college employees and leave ready to start classes this fall. Throughout the day, TTC faculty and staff provided hands-on support with enrollment requirements, fall registration, financial aid steps, academic planning, advising referrals and admissions processes that can often feel overwhelming for students preparing for a new semester.
While on campus, students explored a college resource fair and connected with support services and student organizations. Students also engaged with local employers, including Kirlin Way, Hilton Hotels, Chick-fil-A and Building Talent Foundation.
“The success of Ready, Set, Register! demonstrates what is possible when the college comes together with a shared commitment to student success,” said Student Life Director Sonya Cromwell. “By connecting students with the people, resources and services they need in one place, we helped hundreds of students take the next step toward achieving their educational goals.”
The strong turnout reflects the college’s continued commitment to improving student success, making essential services easier to access. Events like Ready, Set, Register! support TTC’s ongoing efforts to help students start strong and continue to succeed as they work towards earning their degree.
“This event reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a welcoming, supportive and student-centered experience from day one,” Cromwell comments.
The college hopes to build on the event's momentum and explore opportunities to host it again to continue supporting student enrollment and success.
