TTC Scholarships

South Carolina LIFE Scholarship

For students to qualify for the scholarship under the current and/or renewal requirements, they must meet certain criteria.

Current Requirements

• Enrollment in at least 12 college-level (nondevelopmental/bridge) credits each semester to meet the full-time enrollment requirement. A student must complete a 30-annual-credit-hour requirement to qualify for renewal.
• Students may only be considered for the S.C. LIFE Scholarship for two years from the date of initial college enrollment when working toward a two-year degree.
• Students who are S.C. LIFE Scholarship recipients are not eligible to receive S.C. Lottery-Funded Tuition Assistance, except during the remediation period.
• Students with disabilities may be approved to take a reduced course load (instead of 12 credit hours) to meet the full-time enrollment requirement and the 30-annual credit-hour requirement. Apply online for TTC scholarships

High school seniors, apply now through June 6, 2025, for scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year.
Before gaining access to the online scholarship application, high school seniors must complete these steps:

1. Submit a TTC admission application to the TTC Admissions office. You will receive a student ID number and email account once your application is processed.
2. Submit an official high school transcript (through your junior year) to the Admissions office.
3. Submit SAT/ACT scores to the Admissions office OR complete the TTC placement test. Once you complete these steps you may access the online scholarship application through the my.tridenttech.edu student portal.

High school juniors, TTC’s 2026-27 online scholarship application will be available during your senior year. You can apply starting early 2026. The college will use your application to determine your eligibility for all TTC scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year.
