TTC is proud to announce the renewal of its federal TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) grant, ensuring continued support for first-generation and low-income students and students with disabilities. The renewed grant underscores TTC's long-standing commitment to educational equity and student success.
The U.S. Department of Education awarded the competitive grant under the Higher Education Act of 1965, which authorizes funding for the TRIO SSS program. With this renewal, Trident Tech will continue to offer a robust array of services designed to increase retention, graduation and transfer rates among eligible students.
Since its establishment on campus more than 35 years ago, the SSS program has been instrumental in improving academic outcomes and fostering a supportive campus climate for underserved student populations. Funded through 2030, the grant ensures that hundreds of students each year will have access to the tools they need to thrive in college and beyond.
