The Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) Paramedic associate degree program at Trident Technical College offers a comprehensive education designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in emergency medical services. Trident Tech provides a supportive learning environment with experienced instructors dedicated to student success. The program offers flexible scheduling options, including 12-hour and 24-hour shifts, allowing students to balance their education with other commitments. Graduates of the Paramedic degree program can pursue careers in various settings, such as private ambulance services, local government agencies, urgent care centers and more.

There is a significant need for paramedics and EMTs in the Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties. The growing population and increasing number of emergencies in the tricounty area highlight the demand for skilled paramedics and EMTs.

The Paramedic program is eligible for no-cost tuition through Summer 2025.
