Welcoming New TTC Foundation Trustees
The Trident Technical College Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of two new board members: Philip Cavatoni of JW Aluminum and Lee Cox of Bank of America. Both leaders bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to supporting higher education and workforce development in the Lowcountry.
Finding Her Calling
Although Sharon Holden once dreamed of soaring the skies as a flight attendant, it was her very first biology class at Trident Tech that revealed her true calling: Nursing. She embraced that passion and built a meaningful career—giving back not only as an educator but also as a scholarship donor, helping future students find their own paths to purpose.
Employees Impact Scholarships
In support of the college's Wildly Important Goal (WIG) of improving student retention, the Development department set out to increase the number of scholarships awarded by 10%. Achieving that goal meant growing the scholarship fund - and they turned to TTC employees to make it happen.

When Andrea Ross walked across the stage at Trident Technical College’s 2025 commencement ceremony, she wasn’t just receiving a diploma—she was honoring a legacy, overcoming adversity and planting seeds for a brighter future.
