Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned baker, you'll learn tips and techniques for decorating gingerbread cookies and houses with royal icing, candies, and other colorful toppings. All materials are provided—just bring your imagination and holiday cheer. Perfect for families, friends, or solo decorators looking to enjoy a sweet, hands-on seasonal activity. Students will also receive a keepsake apron.

The Feast of Seven Fishes

Celebrate the season old world style! Chef Matt Canter is bringing the Feast of Seven Fishes to Charleston. This traditional Italian dinner celebrates the holidays with an extravagant seafood feast. What's on the menu? Feast your eyes on this: scallops with blood orange and salsa verde, butter poached lobster, butter with romesco, clams with spicy sausage and mussels with Calabrian chili cioppino. There's more: fried catfish New Orleans style, fresh pasta with crab lemon beurre monte and breadcrumbs, and fin fish of the season with puttanesca. You don't want to miss this incredible class! Class is priced per person and includes a CIC apron to take home.

Thanksgiving Pie Workshop

Scared of pie crust? We've got your back. Spend some time in the bakeshop with one of our CIC pastry chefs. We'll walk you through the basics of pie dough and pie baking. Learn to make flaky, butter pie dough and three delicious pies. You'll go home with a double crust apple pie, a pumpkin pie, and a bourbon pecan pie. Tell the family to save room for dessert!
