This University Transfer (Associate in Arts) degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to four-year programs to major or broaden their general knowledge in the areas of communication, humanities, and social sciences. 

Transfer Recommendations:
Students who plan to transfer to a four-year program should select courses that also meet the program requirements at the transfer institution.  Students should review the online transfer course guides and meet with their advisor to select appropriate courses.

REACH Act Statement:
Students who plan to transfer to a four-year program at a public institution in South Carolina should consider completing HIS 201 or PSC 201 to fulfill the REACH Act requirement at the transfer institution.

Admission Requirements

Admission into this program requires proof of high school graduation (or GED) and qualifying placement levels.

Other Degree Information
Students may earn transfer credit towards the degree from other regionally accredited colleges, but at least 25% of the total hours for the AA program (i.e., a minimum of 15 credits) must be taken at TTC.

Students should not complete more than 15 hours of courses with the same prefix.
