This course is a study in animal pathology including the diagnostic laboratory skills, life cycles of parasites and both the animal and zoonotic disease related to parasitology. In addition, this course provides a study of the animals and facilities used in research procedures in medicine. The course includes equipment, aseptic technique, vivarium management, husbandry and disease prevention in laboratory animals.
