Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and Dentistry

This course explores the fundamental principles of veterinary diagnostic imaging. Emphasis is placed on the students safely acquiring diagnostic patient images using digital radiographic techniques. Advanced imaging modalities including CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound are also explored. In addition, students will learn to generate diagnostic full-mouth dental radiographs and the principles and practices of veterinary dentistry will be introduced.
