Trident Technical College encourages all students, faculty and staff to get vaccinated! The Vaccination Incentive Program (VIP) runs Sept. 30 through Nov. 15. The purpose of this program is to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 on campus by increasing vaccination rates in our community.

Winners must present a valid ID and vaccination card to claim incentive. Only one incentive per participant. All incentives must be claimed by Dec. 2, 2021.
Winners are responsible for any federal, state and local taxes associated with the drawings. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

What is the purpose of the Voluntary Vaccination Incentive Program (VIP)?
The purpose of the Voluntary TTC Vaccination Incentive Program (VIP) is to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 on campus by increasing vaccination rates among students, faculty and staff. Vaccination remains the best intervention for reliable protection.
If I have only my first dose of vaccine, do I qualify for the incentive?
To participate in the Vaccination Incentive Program using vaccination records, the documentation must show that the individual received the full vaccination series. That includes individuals who received either:
Two doses of Moderna or Pfizer;
one dose of Johnson & Johnson or;
a full vaccination series of COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization per U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidance are eligible.
How will I know if I am randomly selected for an additional incentive?
Winners will be randomly selected and announced on the following dates.
- Sept. 30 Kickoff event (In-person, outdoors) - RSVP Deadline: 11:59 p.m. Sept. 29
- Oct. 26 (Virtual) - RSVP Deadline: 11:59 p.m. Oct. 25
- Nov. 16 (Virtual) - RSVP Deadline: 11:59 p.m. Nov. 15
If I am randomly selected for an incentive, can I give up my incentive or decline it so I can remain in the pool for a different incentive?
No. The incentive is exclusively for the randomly selected recipient and is not transferrable. You may decline your incentive; however, once your name is drawn it will not be added back into the pool.
Note: Falsifying documentation will result in disciplinary actions.
If I am already vaccinated, do I qualify for VIP incentives?
Yes, current students, faculty and staff who are fully vaccinated are eligible to receive incentives. To register for TTC’s VIP, please RSVP via the following link: RSVP to TTC's VIP
Are photos of vaccination cards acceptable?
Yes, a picture of the front and back of a valid vaccination card* along with a photo ID is acceptable.
I can't find my vaccination card. What should I do?
Contact your vaccination provider for assistance.
Do I have to attend the kickoff to be eligible for an incentive?
No, you do not need to be present to win. You must RSVP for the VIP program to enter for your chance to win in all three of the VIP incentive drawings. Please note: Attendees must present a photo ID and valid COVID-19 vaccination* card to check in at the event.
- Valid COVID-19 vaccination cards must show your name, date of birth, date of vaccination(s), vaccine brand (Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson), vaccine lot number and: Two doses of Moderna/Pfizer-BioNTech or one dose of Janssen (Johnson & Johnson).
I'm not fully vaccinated. Do I qualify for the VIP incentives?
As part of the kickoff event, we will also host a vaccine clinic and offer a food voucher for anyone receiving their vaccine at the event on Sept. 30. Click here for details and to schedule an appointment.
Once you have received two doses of Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech OR one dose of Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), register for TTC's VIP via the following link: RSVP to TTC's VIP. The last day to register is Nov. 15.
How will my vaccination information be stored?
Trident Technical College is not storing any vaccination information. We will perform a visual check for the validity of vaccination cards at the kickoff event entry and when claiming incentives. All Human Resources staff and kickoff event volunteers have received HIPAA training.
Will any COVID-19 safety measures be in place at the kickoff event?
Yes, in addition to limiting attendance to vaccinated students and employees and hosting this event outdoors, we will set up sanitation stations, have masks available and space tables to allow for social distancing.
