The sky is not the limit!
Thanks to $79.3 Million in funding secured from federal, state, local and private sources, Trident Technical College is constructing the The S.C. Aeronautical Training Center to support the state's growing aerospace and automotive cluster.
This new facility will increase capacity to provide training for well-paying jobs in advanced manufacturing industries that have diverse workforces and upward mobility.
But capacity alone is not enough. We want this facility to serve as a catapult, giving flight to future generations.
And we need your help.
Donations to The Sky is Not the Limit Campaign will help us provide a solar roof on the hangar of the SC Aeronautical Training Center as well as innovative programming, outreach to K-12 students, state-of-the-industry equipment, curriculum enhancements and scholarships for students pursuing advanced manufacturing careers in the aerospace and automotive industries.
"The S.C. Aeronautical Training Center will not only meet the demand for skilled workers, but will help spark an interest in the next generation of South Carolinians to pursue a career in the aerospace field."
