Personal Trainer Certification

Become a certified personal trainer. This program is offered in conjunction with World Instructor Training Schools (W.I.T.S.), which offers one of the top four certifications for personal fitness training. This course does not guarantee a certification, but rather prepares you to take the certification examination. Fifteen hours of classroom instruction includes anatomy, exercise physiology, nutrition and health screening. Fifteen hours of hands-on practical training at a nearby fitness center prepares you to work with clients one-on-one. Plus, this program includes a 30-hour internship that networks many graduates right into a job. For reading assignments, call 843.574.6683 in advance of the first session. Note: All participants must be enrolled at least seven days prior to class start date. Proof of CPR/AED certification is required before earning the certification.
