Fitness Professionals

Nutrition Coaching: This course teaches fitness professionals nutritional guidelines for macro and micronutrients; how to determine body fat percentages, lean body mass and body fat weight; how to calculate protein needs based on lean body mass and read nutrition labels properly; and nutrition timing based on training times. Supplementation and hydration also are covered.

Personal Trainer Certification: The World Instructor Training School (W.I.T.S.) certified personal trainer program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Get all the important information needed to start an exciting, successful fitness career and become a certified personal trainer. Personal Fitness

Aikido – Soft Martial Arts: This Japanese self-defense training emphasizes relaxation of the mind and body, even when under stress. It is based on a philosophy of non-resistance. Because training is mental as well as physical, practicing Aikido leads to enhanced self-confidence in a variety of situations.

Yoga Adventure Camp (Ages 7-11): Explore all things yoga, from movement, mindfulness and relaxation to storytelling, art, journaling and nutrition. Experience concepts of peace, respect, gratitude, confidence and wellness. Grow as a person and practice a positive lifestyle both on and off the yoga mat.

Programs for Teens

Health, Wellness and Fitness (Ages 12-17): Learn about careers in health, wellness and fitness. Gain control of your health by setting personal goals. Complete a series of fitness assessments and work with a personal trainer. Learn strength training and resistance, yoga and cardio conditioning through group games and activities. Try fitness equipment like treadmills, elliptical, rowers, dumbbells, agility ladders, battle ropes and other fun gear.
