Asbestos

Asbestos courses offered through TTC meet all requirements for SCDHEC licensing and EPA AHERA/ASHARA accreditation. Initial courses may be required for workers involved with repair and maintenance activities that may disturb asbestos containing materials or building materials that are presumed to contain asbestos during their normal work activities. Refresher classes are also available for workers to keep their licensing up-to-date.

DOT Hazmat Transportation and Security Awareness

This course focuses on the proper handling, packaging, marking, labeling, placarding and transporting of hazardous materials. It also provides an overview of the security requirements found in the Hazardous Materials Regulations.

Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP)

TTC offers initial and refresher courses to help workers gain and keep their certification. Environmental Protection Agency rules apply to contractors who renovate or repair housing, childcare facilities or schools built before 1978. The requirements apply to anyone who could potentially expose children to lead dust during their work and include builders, painters, plumbers and electricians.
