A Closer Look: Macro Photography
Amaze your viewers with macro (1:1 ratio) and pseudo-macro photography of household items, flowers, insects, and so much more. Explore topics such as equipment and lighting, and learn about the unique technical aspects and creative techniques associated with macro photography. A camera that can focus on subjects within a few inches of the lens, preferably one with a macro lens, extension tubes, or a close-up lens is necessary. Tripods (tabletop or full size) are invaluable and highly recommended. This class is divided into two three-hour sections: Friday night (indoors at Trident Tech on Rivers Ave.) and Saturday morning (at Cypress Gardens). No books required
