The Sustainable Agriculture certificate addresses large and small-scale food production from seed to sales with an emphasis on farms and food markets. The coursework covers sustainable agricultural practices, organic farming, and post-harvest handling. Graduates will have the skills to network businesses that comprise the local food system, including wholesalers, farmers market managers, equipment providers, farm-to-school operations, and urban agriculture.
