Design is one of the most important tools of visual communication. To design is to create with intent, or to assign visual order to conceptual abstractions. The Design Basics certificate is intended to give students the basics for becoming successful visual communicators. Students will demonstrate a working knowledge of visual design and composition principles, through successful creation and implementation of design techniques and principles.
