The Humanities and Social Sciences division offers the Associate in Arts (AA) degree and the Professional Writing Certificate.
The Associate in Arts degree, while emphasizing communication, social sciences, and humanities, can potentially provide you with the first two years of baccalaureate coursework. Thus, the division can provide a foundation for many careers. Professional Writing Certificate
The Professional Writing Certificate teaches fundamental writing skills for use in a variety of disciplines, including creative writing, journalism, technical writing and writing for media. Orientation leaders will also assign students to faculty advisors for this program.
