Nursing Instructor #17110 – To qualify for this position, you must have at least a master’s degree in nursing education. Applicants who have an MSN in another area will be required to complete a post-master’s certificate in nursing education within two (2) years of hire. Librarian #17112 (Pending State Classification) – This position requires a master’s degree in library science or related field such as learning resources or information technology from an ALA accredited institution and two (2) years work experience.  Experience with virtual reference tools and online course management / learning management systems (i.e. D2L, Blackboard) is preferred. Radiologic Technology Clinical Coordinator/Instructor #17109  – This position requires a bachelor’s degree, at least two (2) years of clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, one (1) year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program, current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in radiography and current South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) certification and BLS certification. Visual Arts Instructor #1727 (Revised) – This position requires a master's degree in animation or related field and experience teaching 3D animation. A bachelor's degree in art, graphic arts, digital media or a related area plus enrollment in a master's degree program will be considered. College level teaching experience in visual arts is preferred. Ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of industry standard content creation software packages (i.e Maya, Zbrush, AfterEffects, Photoshop, and Substance Painter); and an understanding of the history and theory of contemporary 20 and 30 animation. Welding Instructor #1685 – This position requires a bachelor's degree in welding technology or a closely related field; or an associate degree in welding technology or a closely related field plus current welding experience. Aircraft Manufacturing Technology Instructor – This position requires a bachelor’s degree in aircraft manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, or related area OR an associate degree PLUS two (2) years of related work experience. Position also requires comprehensive knowledge and experience in aircraft manufacturing processes with emphasis given to: sheet metal and composite structures, aircraft materials and hand tools, fluid line assembly, corrosion identification and control, and basic electrical systems. Animation Instructors –To qualify for these positions candidates must have at least an associate’s degree in a visual arts discipline. Excellent customer service skills are essential.  A bachelor’s degree in a related area is preferred. Ability to work on both PC and Macintosh platforms is critical. Recent relevant industry experience or previous college level teaching experience is also preferred. College level teaching experience in the field of visual arts is preferred. This position will teach in the areas of 2D Design, Color Theory, Graphic Design, Web Design and Multimedia. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Instructors –To qualify for these positions you must have at least an associate degree in electromechanical technology, mechanical engineering technology, or industrial technology or a related field PLUS five (5) years of industry-related field experience. Instructors are needed for the following courses: piping systems and pumps, drive systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and mechanical sketching and blueprint reading. Information Systems Instructors – To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a master’s degree in computer science/information technology or a closely related field OR a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in computer science/information technology. Experience in Web development, such as HTML, CSS, and/or Java Script and expert knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office is preferred. Working knowledge of databases such as MS Access, SQL, MYSQL, and/or Oracle is also preferred. Working knowledge and experience in the concepts and theories of conventional and CNC machining, set-up and operations, CAD/CAM programming, materials and processes, blueprint reading, and tool design are a plus. Medical Assisting (MT/MLS/MLT) Instructor –The Medical Assisting program is seeking a part-time instructor to teach medical laboratory courses for the Fall semester, August 21, 2017 to December 12, 2017.  Ideal candidate will have an associate degree in MLT and credentialed. Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s in a related area and MLT credentialed. Lecture classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 am – 9:30 am and lab sections will meet Monday 8:00 am – 10:40 am and Wednesday 8:00 am– 10:40 am.  Course materials, such as lecture power points, lab activities, tests and quizzes are provided. The labs for these courses are held in TTC’s MLT lab on Main Campus. Laboratory activities include: specimen collection (including live fingersticks and venipuncture), specimen centrifugation and pour off,  point of care testing, rapid kit tests, sed rates, spun hct, hemoccult, urinalysis, use of a microscope, slide preparation and staining. Network Systems Management Instructors (Non-Transfer Courses)To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information assurance, or information technology. Industry certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, VMware, LPI, Red Hat, or Cisco are also preferred. Nursing Instructors (ADN) – Part-time instructors needed to provide clinical instruction/supervision for 8 - 9 students on an adult medical surgical acute care unit.  Clinical rotations are available for 7 or 14 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays or Mondays and Wednesdays. A BSN PLUS enrollment in and 50 percent completion of a master's degree nursing program or an MSN is required. Candidates must also have a minimum of two (2) years recent clinical experience in medical surgical nursing as an RN and a current SC RN license. Clinical teaching experience in an ADN or BSN program preferred. Excellent customer service skills are a plus. Recent relevant industry experience and previous college level online and traditional teaching experience is also preferred. Candidates must demonstrate experience using studio and location still camera and lighting equipment, and possess a thorough knowledge of traditional film and digital image capture and printing processes. Required knowledge base includes content related to assigned teaching responsibilities in physics and astronomy lectures and laboratories. Three years full-time equivalent experience teaching astronomy, and both algebra-based and calculus-based physics, at the two-year college level is preferred. Must be capable of lifting/assembling heavy telescopes and performing night sky observations. Work experience in the areas of graphic design, Web design and/or multimedia and the ability to work with Adobe Master Suite on both PC and Macintosh platforms is critical. Welding Instructor –To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a minimum of five (5) years current welding experience and must pass certification tests in each welding process taught. Teaching/training experience and an associate degree in a related area is preferred. Instructors are needed to teach entry-level through advanced classes in shielded metal arc, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux cored arc, and oxyacetylene/plasma arc/carbon arc cutting processes as well as related courses in blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, and weld inspection, testing, and codes.
