Machine Tool Instructors – The Manufacturing, Industrial and Construction Trades Continuing Education and Economic Development is seeking to fill immediate part-time contract Machine Tool Instructor positions. Instructors are needed to teach varying class schedules for day and evening classes. These positions require a high school diploma AND five (5) years current industry experience that includes both conventional and CNC equipment set-up and operations. An associate degree in machine tool technology, industrial technology or a closely related field is preferred. Previous training or teaching experience is highly preferred. Working knowledge and experience in the concepts and theories of conventional and CNC machining, set-up and operations, CAD/CAM programming, materials and processes, blueprint reading, and tool design are essential. Salary is commensurate with education and experience at an hourly rate of $25- $27.50 per hour. These positions are open until filled.

Welding Instructor – The Manufacturing, Industrial and Construction Trades Continuing Education and Economic Development is seeking to fill immediate part-time contract Welding Instructor positions. To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a minimum of five (5) years current welding experience and must pass certification tests in each welding process taught. Teaching/training experience and an associate degree in a related area is preferred. Instructors are needed to teach entry-level through advanced classes in shielded metal arc, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux cored arc, and oxyacetylene/plasma arc/carbon arc cutting processes as well as related courses in blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, and weld inspection, testing, and codes. Excellent customer service skills are required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience at an hourly rate of $25 - $27.50. These positions are open until filled.

Wastewater Instructor – The Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development is seeking a part-time instructor for the Wastewater Operator Short School.  Qualified candidate will have at least five (5) years of wastewater industry experience and a valid Class ‘A’ Biological Wastewater Operator license.  This position must be able to teach day classes at TTC’s Main Campus. Excellent customer service skills are essential.   Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
