About the Program

SC•WINS is a statewide sector strategy technical college scholarship program designed to address workforce shortages in South Carolina. The scholarship supplements lottery tuition assistance to help cover any tuition and mandatory fees left after applying all other scholarships or grants.

How do I apply?

  1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov or use the myStudentAid mobile app. Include TTC's school code 004920 on your FAFSA application so Trident Tech will receive your FAFSA. Need assistance with the FAFSA? The Education Opportunity Center can help!

  2. Submit an admission application to the college if you haven't already done so.

  3. Check your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the FAFSA to ensure it is accurate and complete. If you are chosen for verification, complete a verification worksheet found in the my.tridenttech.edu portal and submit it (with any requested documentation) to a Financial Aid office.

  4. Check your my.tridenttech.edu account regularly for notices from TTC's Financial Aid office. The college should receive your FAFSA within 7-10 business days after you complete it online.
