About TMUN

Trident Model United Nations (TMUN2010) registration is open. Countries have been assigned to the first round of registrants via email from the Directors. If you have any questions, you can email the Directors or call the Model UN Office at (843) 574-6420.

The TMUN Conference is dedicated to promoting both cultural and international understanding. Members of our 2008 & 2009  teams worked to improve parliamentary procedure to ensure debate is lively and engaging for all TMUN participants. The TMUN Conference consists of  three Committees focused on specific diplomatic areas: Legal, Political & Security, and Social & Humanitarian. To prepare for this simulation, delegations are expected to submit resolutions pertinent to country interests yet relevant on a global scale.

Visit the Important Dates to view the schedule we will follow in accepting registrations, assigning countries, and sharing information with TMUN participants.

We are proud to maintain high quality at a low cost to participants. See the conference fees for 2010. Because space is limited, please complete the Registration Form and submit your conference fee payment promptly. We assign countries on a first-come-first-paid basis with some regard to prior experience in order to provide a lively conference experience for delegates.  For schools with multiple teams, please note that we reserve the right to assign countries to the widest number of schools with the intent of ensuring engaging debate and negotiation.

We have posted the 2010 schedule to allow potential participants an opportunity to think about the simulation and plan accordingly.

Our TMUN Rules of Parliamentary Procedure have been posted.
