STUDENT LEARNING DOMAINS

Initially, Student Services managers considered the question of what students can learn through interaction with the Student Services departments and offices. They identified three areas of importance: students' abilities to exhibit essential life skills, essential social skills, and ethical behavior. Outcomes associated with these three domains were determined to be:

  • personal responsibility
  • perseverance
  • decision-making/critical-thinking
  • financial responsibility
  • technology use
  • effective communication
  • interpersonal skills
  • civic mindedness
  • adherence to legal and ethical requirements

Essential Life Skills
Students will be able to demonstrate:

Essential Social Skills
Students will be able to demonstrate:
