The Public Safety office provides security and ensures safety for students, faculty, staff and visitors to the Palmer Campus. Officers are certified through the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and have full arrest powers. They enforce traffic, parking and fire regulations on campus. Help is also at hand if you have car trouble or need to be escorted to your car at night. Emergency call boxes are placed throughout the parking lot for your safety. Parking at Palmer Campus is limited, and permits are issued only to currently enrolled students. Although there is no charge, students, faculty and staff must complete a registration form. Students can complete the form in the Admissions office, Room 121, after the drop/add period. Public Safety issues parking permits for faculty and staff. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to park in the grassy area in the rear of the campus.
