
The Learning Center Division helps students make the transition to college through developmental studies English, mathematics, and reading courses; learning assistance sponsored workshops and tutoring; and mentoring. In addition, the division manages the college's Critical Reading and English as a Second Language courses and offers IDS 101, Human Thought and Learning, as an additional course to help students prepare for college-level curriculum.
The Learning Center also refers to the 19,000 square foot facility at the Main Campus that houses most of the division's personnel, classes, and other activities.
