An equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience may be considered. Excellent customer service skills are essential. A graduate of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy as a certified police officer and campus law enforcement experience as well as a working knowledge of state, county and municipal laws is also preferred. Administrative Specialist (Science and Mathematics) – To qualify for this part-time contract position, you must have at least an associate’s degree; or a high school diploma and two (2) years of related work experience. The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; be proficient in Microsoft office systems; possess knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment; and be able to work independently, effectively and efficiently. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are essential for this position. Duties include, but are not limited to, handling diversified data and maintaining confidential information, assisting with supervision of work-study students, operating a multi-line phone system, and giving correct basic college information or referrals to the appropriate college department.
