All applicants must apply for admission and meet admission requirements for acceptance to the College before enrolling in classes. Applicants must fulfill the requirements for the program of study selected. Admission requirements may vary depending on your categories of admission.
New Students	First time ever attending college
Returning Students	Previously attended TTC but not in the last three semesters
Transfer Students	Attended another college and transferring to TTC
Transient Students	Attending TTC to transfer credit back to the college where the student is enrolled in a degree program
Cross Registration Students	Enrolled as a student at CharlestonSouthern University, The Citadel, College of Charleston or Medical University of South Carolina and also taking courses at TTC
High School Students	Taking college courses while in high school (Dual Credit and Early Admit)
International Students	Attending TTC under a student visa from a country outside the United States
Audit Students	Enrolling in credit class without earning any credit hours
Senior Citizen Students	Enrolling as a legal SC resident who is over 60 years of age and not employed full-time
