Academic and Program Funds

• The Trident Technical College General Fund: supports operational expenses, scholarships and special projects of the Foundation
• The Alumni Association General Fund: supports operational expenses, scholarships and special projects of the Alumni Association.
• The Automotive Student Equipment Fund: assists students in the automotive program who need help purchasing books and equipment.
• The Clemente Fund: helps with bus fares and food costs related to the Clemente Project which offers free college-level humanities courses to disadvantaged people in the Charleston area.
• The Cosmetology Student Equipment Fund: assists students in the Cosmetology program who need help purchasing books and equipment.
• The Culinary Institute Fund: assists with faculty/staff professional development, student competition fees, food special events
• The Culinary Institute of Charleston Student Equipment Fund: assists students in the Culinary and Hospitality programs who need help purchasing books, uniforms and equipment.
• The Dental Services Fund: assists with the renovation of the dental clinic.
• The Huff Library Fund: helps with purchase of books and resources for the Learning Resources Center.
• The Innovation Celebration Fund: this fund will provide competitive annual grant awards for innovative projects that promote teaching, training or administrative excellence at Trident Technical College.
• The Jerry Zucker Technology Fund: Strengthens programs in Engineering Technology and provide ongoing professional development to members of the Engineering faculty.
• The Lego Robotics Fund: assists with printing, supplies, food and beverage costs related to the regional Lego tournament.
• The Minigrant Fund: assists faculty and staff in purchasing equipment, materials and special resources not funded by the college due to budgetary constraints.
• The Model UN Fund: assists with the cost of supplies, printing and awards for the competition.
• The Nursing Building Fund: support construction, equipment and furniture needs for the new Nursing Building.
• The Nursing Student Equipment Fund: assists students in the Nursing program that need help purchasing books and equipment.
• The Steinberg Book Fund: assists dual credit students with book expenses.
• The Student Emergency Fund: assists students with unforeseen financial emergencies who would otherwise have to discontinue attending TTC. These funds are not designed to be a consistent supplement to a student’s education funding sources. Requests must be urgent in nature and are approved by a committee.
• The Student Services Fund: assists with the costs related to campus activities such as the Big Band Concert.
• The TTC Green Fund: supports environmental sustainability activities of the TTC Green Initiative.
• The Tuition Reimbursement/Credit Course Assistance Fund: supports eligible full-time faculty and staff who are pursuing higher education goals. Applications and guidelines are posted in public folders and on www.tridenttech.edu/foundation.htm.
• The Welding Student Equipment Fund: assists students in the welding program who need help purchasing books and equipment.
