Financial Aid Status
Standard of Satisfactory Academic Progress
Remember your financial aid Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is measured in two ways by assessing your grade point average (GPA) and your course completion rate (CCR). We stress the word “and” because to remain in good standing with FA, you must meet the requirements of both. When your eligibility status is “satisfactory,” it means that you are meeting both requirements. When you are not in satisfactory status, you will be either in “warning,” “probation,” or “suspension” status. Please go to How to Keep Your Financial Aid/Veterans Educational Benefits for additional information on Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress. Please contact the FA/VA office if you are uncertain about your SAP status.
